I have been working as a translator and interpreter for over five years. I have interpreted at various high-level events all over the United States and hold a contract with the Language Services of the U.S. Department of State.  I worked for U.S. courts, the U.S. Customs, the Department of Agriculture, with specialists in various fields and ministers of various countries.   My work has been commended for being professional, efficient, very high quality and thoroughly prepared.  Some of the areas I worked in:

March 12-13, 2002:Supernovae Translations, Reston, VA.  American Council for Teacher’s Education hosted a high-level group from the Russian Ministry of Education.  Seminar interpretation.

December 3-6, 2001: Foundation for Russian American Economic Cooperation, Seattle, WA.  U.S. – Russian project on computerizing customs procedures in Russia.  Seminar interpretation.

June 20,25, 2001:Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Washington, DC.  Conference interpretation of presentations made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic at the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute and the National Press Club.

June 7-9, 2001:Leninetz Holding Company, St. Petesburg, Russia.  Seminar interpretation during a visit of the President of the company to Washington, DC.  The company specializes in fuel reforming, magnetohydrodynamics, and plasma aerodynamic control.

April 23-May 10, 2001: TechTrans International, Houston, TX.  Seminar interpretation.  International Space Station, software integration and testing.

February 10-March 4, 2001:  U.S. Department of State, Washington, DC.  Three-week program on theatre management.

November 20-22, 2000: Monterey Bay Aquarium, CA.  Simultaneous interpretation at the annual conference devoted to sea otters.

March 2000-present: Superior Court of District of Colombia, Washington, DC. Simultaneous interpretation.

March 25-29, 2000:Russian Language Services, Arlington, VA. Simultaneous interpretation at the annual meeting of the American Association of Nurse Executives.

October 24-30, 1999: Wellstart International, San Diego, CA. Simultaneous interpretation at the annual conference devoted to women's health issues.

February - March, 1999: Nuclear Information and Research Service, Washington, D.C.  Performed several translation assignments.

January 23 - February 14, 1999 United States Information Agency, Washington, DC. Three week assignment as an escort interpreter for a group of Russian university administrators.

October 13, 1998:Russian Language Services, Arlington, Virginia.  Interpreted at the USDA at a high level meeting between representatives of the Russian government and the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture, Daniel Glickman.
